End of summer ride!

Main post on IndiBlogger.in, the Indian blogging community.

It's time to end the summer with a leisurely long drive through the mountains and especially through the hilly region of Maharashtra.
So I talked to my medical colleague to decide where and how to do it. It is very important that he is free at the same time as I am, and also to check if his Royal Enfield is suitable for accompanying my Royal Enfield on a long, warm and sunny journey.
The first destination was the apparent Mahabaleshwar, followed by Panchgani and Bhandardara. They were immediately shot down, because we weren't looking for directions, but a whole day of skiing. We weren't interested in driving on freeways and freeways. We wanted to sit in the back. Driving on highways and freeways was sleepy and boring. It was more like driving from point A to point B and back without the scenic wonders that can be found on back roads. After some brainstorming, we found a solution. On the street corners between Igatpuri and Manor. We took this trip separately during the monsoons, which is heaven, but never together in the height of summer.

That's it, we decided to end our summer season with this winding ride and warm up the curves on this stretch.

Here are some photos from our trip and yes, we took a break in the middle to fill our rumbling bellies.

We always brought sandwiches or focaccias with us so as not to be hungry. This is because we like to eat outside sitting in the shade of a tree rather than sitting and eating in a hot and humid claustrophobic dhaba or restaurant. And we also like to eat when we want, not when we go to the restaurant. This helps us focus on enjoying the journey rather than finding a place to eat. We also guarantee hygienic food beyond the usual !!
This time, my friend told me he heard about a new food delivery app called FoodPanda , which is linked to some of our favorite restaurants in Mumbai and also delivers our orders to our home for free. So he ordered some tasty sandwiches , which we ate under a huge and delicate banana tree at the top of the hill, and were refreshed by the cool breeze.

This trip was also great and now I'm looking forward to the rainy season.
