Zestful event in Goa
A week ago I received an invitation from Blogada to spend a full weekend in Goa. It was an offer he couldn't refuse as it meant trying out two new offerings from the Tata Motors stable: the Zest petrol with the 1.2 tonne Revotron engine mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox and the 1.3 tonne Quadrajet diesel engine. Zest which is automatic. truck change. And all this while pampering yourself in the five-star comfort of the Zuri Hotel in Varka, Goa.
Jet Airways took us to Blogada Goa and upon arrival in Goa the blogger from Tata Motors collected all the bloggers in an air-conditioned vehicle and took us to Hotel Zuri where we were greeted with a traditional tikka. Our rooms are displayed in a very professional manner by the hotel and Blogada staff.
When we arrived we freshened up and went to lunch where we started meeting all the bloggers who were in a virtual relationship but hadn't seen each other in a few years. It was definitely a great pleasure.
Zesto was very present before saying Blogadda or TataMotors because it was time to have a Blogadda meeting in the conference room to generalize what we are going to do.
We then had an hour to be alone with our new 'real' friends and our old 'virtual' friends as we walked through the vast grounds of the Hotel Zuri and then to the beach, but we didn't make it. looking forward to seeing the sun go down when we get back to the Zesty session with the engineers, marketing and design responsible for creating these two amazing products.
Back at the venue we had a great time with the Tata Motörheads. They did not hesitate to answer the questions they were asked, showing their confidence in their product. The icing on the cake was a brief introduction to Narain Karthikeyan's cars.
This made us hungry and we quickly devoured the Goan delicacies and other dishes prepared for us.
We return to our rooms and our beds with the intention of getting up early the next morning to do some long tests on the cars we have heard so much about.
So, after a hearty breakfast, we drove the petrol and diesel versions through verdant Goa, where the narrow streets were full of greenery and quaint little chapels and churches.
Back from the road we were dying to share our experiences with the world, so before lunch we took the time to create this blog for you.
