Bandhavgarh National Park in Madhya Pradesh

"If you don't see a tiger it's your own fault, you must have committed a grave sin," the ranger told us. We had lunch just before 3am and set out on our first game drive. Bandavagarh.

My goodness

Our first animal was a wild boar, many birds and animals followed, but the tiger escaped

But we saw new footprints from the mysterious beast and returned, wondering which of us was the biggest culprit.
Luckily we had one day left for the jungle trek so we weren't totally discouraged and had high hopes for the game the next morning. We had entered the forest, our guide held out his hand and the jeep stopped. He noticed wild movements in the forest, indicating the presence of something unseen. Then the jeep slowly drove forward and turned around

Several jeeps and people with cameras were parked around the next bend, ready to film. We joined the gang and waited, cameras ready and breathless with excitement as we watched.

And here he entered on the right. Dense forest on the way. He looked at us casually and without another look at the pond on the left. Oh, and they rushed to the spot and were about to shoot him in the pond, but he drank some water, looked around and came back.

There should be at least 8 jeeps with 5 tourists each. But silence and awe fell upon him at the sight of this magnificent animal.
It was my first sight of this majestic animal. I felt blessed.
