Mumbai to Vittal road trip
After traveling 830 km from Bandra, we arrived in Mordeshwar in the afternoon around 17.00.
It was a very smooth ride on NH4 to Hubli then NH63 to Ankola to connect.
The NH17 reappears - driving pleasure.
We arrived at Naveen Beach Resort which as the name implies is located right on the beach.
I caught a beautiful sunset from the beach with hundreds of other people who came to spend their evenings there.
Join the community to watch a cricket match on the giant screen in the resort's courtyard, and after a delicious dinner of fish curry and rice head out for the night.
I took a walk along the beach at dawn and was surprised to see so much activity on the beach. All cute except for one - a tad bitch. Why do locals use our beach as a toilet? I also saw it on the Konkan coast.
The fishermen who set up their nets at night took their bountiful catch of various types of crabs and lobsters and started sorting them out.
Then there are entrepreneurs who make speedboats suitable for water sports. The family arrived in a packed bus to spend most of the morning at the beach.
Merchants selling T-shirts and jewelry also opened shops.
After a nice breakfast with Idli Dosa we headed to the Kollur Mukambika temple. Check
He arrived in time for Puja, was blessed and went on Vital.
Driving on smooth and beautiful roads is fun. I arrived at Vittal in the evening
It's time to refresh the tea.
