Part 13 - Ranchi to Mumbai via Kanyakumari -The Home run!

After a great stay at Ranchi, it's time to move on and honestly, the thought of returning home is quite motivating! But we had to travel several thousand miles before our heads rested on our pillows. So we went to Nagpur and stayed there for a few days with cousin Aditya who went out of his way to make us very comfortable. They also made sure to cover our trip in the local press and then interview us in electronic media and newspapers.

The local Royal Enfield Motor Club also ensures that our vehicles are well maintained until the end of the trip. Special mention to Zero Mile Riders Club of Nagpur, whose members have vouched for ours.

bike is taken care of. Shahnawaz Khan (Member of ZMRC), the owner of the garage, was personally interested in getting our bikes ready. Thank you friends! And thanks to Shezad Dungaji, a local biker and entrepreneur, who spent most of his time with us while we were there helping us get to know the local RE club and get him to join.

We then continued on to Hyderabad where we spent a few days visiting famous places and making pilgrimages to Paradise Cafe for their famous biryani.

When we reached Puducherry we were drenched in rain and a few days of rain.

Kanyakumari beckoned and we headed for the southernmost point of India where we decided to head straight home instead of the west coast. The main reason was of course because we were tired, and secondly, because the two of us had thoroughly explored the west coast several times, it didn't bother us.

So we turned north and headed home via Hubli, Satara and Poona.

Our return is tame compared to the thunder wires we have.

We just hugged after completing our epic journey of 13,000 km in 72 days. On the 73rd day, we were at the Bandra Kurla complex, where we started, praying for each other!

Hope you enjoy reading about our trip too!!
