After breakfast, I left Lech at 10 a.m. and left for Sarcha. We are happy to have finished a difficult trip in the mountains, after which we will not feel the pressure to climb higher, because now it will be a descent.
We drove through Tanglang La and didn't recognize it as there was snow on our way to Leh. Passed Debring and stopped for a cup of tea in the same store.

Stopped for the night on the way to Leh. After swapping treats and warming up with a hot cup of tea, we continued on our way and had to cross a sand trap where I dropped my standard idle. Fortunately, road construction workers rushed to my rescue and we headed for the famous paved road of the maritime plains. We had only covered a few kilometers when Aditya stopped and we realized he had a flat tire. Then we realized we didn't have a pump to fill the tube with air. Soon a local SUV stopped his car and offered help. But he couldn't do it because he didn't have a foot pump. As we wondered what was going to happen, we heard the roar of an approaching motorcycle. They were part of an organized trip with a van behind them. The truck we saw stopped and offered to help. But Lady Luck really let us down because her foot pump didn't even work. However, a local guide with them offered to help negotiate with empty truck drivers to order Aditya's bike from a tire repair center near Panga. when they were

Derailment of the bicycle when loading the bicycle onto the truck! Speaking of bad luck!
Anyway, Aditya got into the truck, sat next to his bike, and I followed him. He arrives in Pang at night to find the only leak repair company closed and untraceable. We agreed to stay in the dhaba, which surprisingly was a concrete structure with mattresses.

Scattered inside. In the meantime, I crossed the road to an Indian army camp, which had a telephone connection that we could use. I followed MHW Kumaru and informed him of our situation, and now the only option was to book the bike in Manali where the puncture and shifter could be fixed. Resourceful as always, he organized a van to collect our bikes from Keylong the next day and inquired about Manali. And he also ensured that our accommodation in Manali was close to the Royal Enfield showroom/workshop!
The bikes were left right outside the store and they immediately started fixing Aditya's bike and I decided to fix mine too. The next morning the bikes were delivered to our hotel doorstep and after a short test drive we set off for Rupnagar. Or so we thought. We had barely covered 20 km when Aditya's bike had a puncture! So we called Royal Enfield and they went like guardian angels, fixed the leak and we were off again. Strangely, after another 30 km, Aditya's bike punctured again. Now the owner of the Royal Enfield came on the bike with his assistants, changed the rear wheel tire and tube and accompanied us to Kullu and helped us find a good hotel for the night.
Fresh next morning, we finally set out, and in the evening after an unpleasant journey, we reached Rupnagar, also known as Ropar, and spent the night en route to Dehradun, where we were to meet a famous Dr. Jhala. Wildlife scientist.

After a few wonderful nights in Dehradun, we head to Ramnagar and then Chillianula, home to the ashram of spiritual guru Aditya. We spent a few days at the ashram.

And then proceed to Tanakpur to enter Nepal.
