Tanakpur in Bardiya

Driving through the winding mountain roads to Tanakpur was amazing. We halted at Tanakpur

KMVN resort. It was a comfortable overnight stay after which we started our journey to Nepal. Exactly seven months have passed since that day, and the last tragic event - a devastating earthquake has awakened warm memories of this wonderful country, colored with such sadness.
Entry into Nepal went smoothly. After sending copies of driver's license, motorcycle registration and insurance at the border, after paying the visa fee, we got fed up.
Today's destination is Bardia Tiger Reserve. The distance was not far, there was a road

amazing! The famous Mahindra Expressway! Although there were only two lanes, the traffic was light and the surface was beautiful. It was a walk through a dense forest, so it was very pleasant, no animals or people crossing the road except through the villages.

The last few kilometers to Bardia Tiger Reserve consisted of a short river crossing and some places

A trail ride that adds to the fun of running.

We arrived just in time to drink some refreshing tea and get ready for the final jungle safari of the day.

Forest safari with Toyota truck.

We were lucky enough to see deer and other deer, but no tiger.
We returned to the delicious food prepared by the resort staff in their restaurant and had a long rest in the very comfortable room.
It rained during the night and luckily for us, the resort staff covered our bikes, which still had bags, with our bags and cloths to keep our clothes from getting wet.
